Tolerances of +/-0.1 mm to+/-0.3mm can be realized in metal cutting depending on thickness and length of profile.
We can offer from very smooth to very rough finishes as per preference. Given bellow are various type of cut edge finishes.
Quality- Q5 – Very Smooth finish.
The cut edges shall be as smooth as sand blast finish with no are very minimal serration marks. The cut edge taper will be almost nil or very minimul,0.1 to 0.2mm or 1 degree of tapper per cut edge.
Quality- Q4 - Smooth finish.
The cut edges shall have mild serration marks at half way down the thickness of the profile. The cut edge taper will be 0.1 to 0.3 mm or 1 to 2 degree of tapper per cut edge.
Quality- Q3 - Medium finish.
The cut edges look with mild serration marks half way down the thickness of the profile. The cut edge taper will be 0.1 to 0.4 mm or 1 to 2 degree of tapper per cut edge. This finish is most preferred by many customers who prefer minimal taper but also want cost effective and affordable cutting solution for their profiles.
Quality- Q2 - Rough finish.
The cut edge shall be with moderately deep serration marks mostly half way down the thickness of the profile.
The cut edge taper will be 0.1 to 0.5 mm or 1 to 3 degree of tapper per cut edge.This finish is most suitable for many of fabrication parts.May require mild grinding on the edges at your end. This finish is very affordable and cost effective.
Quality- Q1 - Separation Cut finish.
The cut edge have deep serration half way down the thickness of the profile.
The cut edge taper will be 0.5 to 2 mm or 5 to 10 degree of taper per cut edge, depending on material thickness and hardness.
The primary aim of this finish is to just separate out the profile shapes from the parent plate material to take advantage of closely nesting the shapes. This finish cost very least and is preferred by customers who want to machine the edges with other operations. Customers who have been cutting earlier by plasma or oxy-fuel cutting with more machining allowance are adopting to waterjet cutting. Very minimal machining allowance only is necessary for further machining. There by we find our customers have been able to turn out more parts in their costly CNC milling or VMC,HMC machines and also free up their machining time to add up more machining portfolio in their activity.
With our highly powerfull cutting system, We can cut SS,INCONEL like hardest of metals upto 150mm and can cut nylons upto 250mm
